The Goddess's Devilishly Handsome Elite Soldier

Chapter 5: Massage

Chapter 4: Massage “Alan…” A middle-aged man in a suit pulled the woman into his arms, giving her a reproachful glare with a helpless smile on his face. “Director Dong, my wife speaks her mind a bit too bluntly. Please bear with her…” Immediately, a doctor stepped forward to introduce him: “Director Dong, this is Mr. Zhang Qihang, CEO of the Zhang Group…” “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Mr. Zhang,” Dong Wanwu said coldly, a sneer in his heart. “Please ask all the women to step aside and rest. All this commotion is doing nothing to help their treatment!” “Who are you calling noisy?!” “Oh, you old curmudgeon! You won’t even let us family members stay here!” “Exactly! I’m telling you, if you don’t save my nephew today, this hospital is finished!” “Hmph, it’s just a run-down hospital!” No sooner had Dong Wanwu spoken than several women immediately protested, pointing at him and shouting their complaints. The other prominent figures present glared awkwardly at their wives but remained silent; some of the women’s remarks indeed reflected their own thoughts, which drew angry stares from the doctors who held the hospital director in high regard. Even Dong Wanwu’s expression darkened. With neither side speaking, the situation reached a stalemate. “What are you doing!” Just then, the black-clad bodyguards of the Zhang conglomerate, standing on either side of the corridor, suddenly bellowed, pointing toward the hospital bed. “Get out immediately!” Everyone turned to look and immediately frowned. There, a casually dressed young man was actually performing acupuncture on Zhang Mingliang, gently tapping his body as he worked. Was this really how one treated a patient? “Let go of my son!” “Ah… If you dare lay a finger on our Mingliang, I’ll make sure your family is ruined!” “You brat, who gave you permission to meddle with medical treatment like this!” “Everyone, stay calm… Bodyguards, go grab him!” After a moment of stunned silence, the patient’s family members rushed forward in a frenzy. The doctors exchanged bewildered glances, but Dong Wanwu, having recognized the healer as Qiao Yu, flashed a look of surprise and delight across his face. He immediately shouted angrily, “Everyone, stop right there! Qiao Yu is my—” But it was too late. Three or four bodyguards had already rushed up to Qiao Yu, each using grappling techniques to grab at his arms! “Nobody move… That’s right… Lie down!” As he spoke, without any visible movement, Qiao Yu glided around the bodyguards like a fish. By the time he sat back down, all of them were lying on the ground, clutching certain parts of their bodies with furrowed brows, struggling to suppress the urge to scream, and staring at the young man before them with terror. “Aaaah!” While the men feared Qiao Yu’s eerie agility, the other women were not so easily intimidated. Zhang Mingliang’s mother, Huang Lan, screamed and lunged forward, clawing at him with both hands. “Dare to mess with the Zhang family? I think you’re tired of living!” “Get lost!” Qiao Yu sneered coldly, lightly tapping this unreasonable shrew on the body. She immediately let out a agonized scream, lost her balance, and plopped down onto the ground. Immediately, a pungent odor filled the entire room. Everyone looked down to see that, from that single light touch, a stream of pale yellow liquid was flowing uncontrollably from Huang Lan—she had clearly wet herself! “A-Lan!” Zhang Qihang hurriedly crouched down, and the other medical staff rushed to help wipe her clean. “What did you do to my sister-in-law!” “You brat, get down on your knees and apologize right now, or I’ll make you wish you were dead!” “Ahhh…” Only then did Huang Lan catch her breath. The realization that she, the wife of the mighty Zhang conglomerate, had just suffered such a humiliating embarrassment in front of so many people hit her all at once, and she began wailing. “Qihang, I don’t care how much it costs—we have to get rid of him! He actually played a trick on me… Waaah…” “Alright, stop making a scene. You all, comfort your elder sister-in-law…” Zhang Qihang quickly composed his flustered expression, smoothed out his clothes, and adopted an apologetic demeanor as he walked over to Qiao Yu and extended his hand. “Dr. Qiao Yu, is that right? Hello, I’m Zhang Qihang. What happened earlier was a misunderstanding. Please forgive me!” Qiao Yu shook his hand with a half-smile. “No need to be so polite, Mr. Zhang. But speaking of which… this is your fault, too. You’ve spoiled your wife rotten all this time; it’s no surprise she causes trouble for you whenever she goes out!” “What did you say?!” Huang Lan flew into a rage the moment she heard this; if someone hadn’t been holding her back, she would have charged at him again. “Qihang, listen to this! Listen to what this damn man is saying!” “Kid, don’t push it too far!” “Hmph, if you cross the Zhangs, I’ll make sure you can’t live in Yancheng!” “Oh, so you’re all talk, are you?” Qiao Yu glanced at the dying patient on the bed and said with a hint of derision. “Originally, only I could save him. Since you’re all so tough, why don’t you save him yourselves!” A group of doctors looked silently at the hospital director. Dong Wanwu gave a faint, half-smiling nod, adopting the posture of someone watching a show. “All of you, shut up!” Zhang Qihang glared fiercely at the relatives and family members behind him—people who usually acted all high and mighty but resorted to threatening him with their status the moment trouble arose. He turned around with a friendly expression, gave Qiao Yu a slight bow, and said earnestly,“Mr. Qiao, please spare my son’s life. I’ll agree to any conditions you set as a reward. I beg you!” “Qihang, have you lost your mind? Trusting some good-for-nothing punk!” Huang Lan persisted, her voice breaking with tears. “Transfer him to People’s Hospital immediately! If my son isn’t saved today, I won’t go on living either!” “Shut up!” Zhang Qihang glared fiercely at his wife and whispered, low enough for only the two of them to hear. “This kid isn’t an ordinary person!” “He…” Huang Lan glanced at Qiao Yu and forced herself to shut up. “Director Dong, Mr. Qiao, I’m begging you today…” Zhang Qihang turned around and spoke earnestly. “Save my son. I’ll agree to any conditions you set.” Dong Wanwu said nothing, merely fixing his gaze on Qiao Yu. “Don’t beg. A doctor’s duty is to heal the sick and save lives—it’s my calling. I don’t need any reward from you.” Qiao Yu shrugged and smiled. “Now, have the nurse take the patient to the operating room immediately. Also, I need a meticulous female assistant.” At these words, both groups were taken aback and couldn’t help but inwardly marvel. The fact that Qiao Yu didn’t seize the opportunity to demand a large sum of money was enough to show his extraordinary character. Zhang Qihang nodded and said, “Alright, I, Zhang Qihang, owe you a favor!” “What’s going on?” Just then, a beautiful woman in a white lab coat walked in from the doorway. Everyone turned to look and respectfully made way for her. “Director Jiang!” “President Jiang…” “Yufei’s here!” Dong Wanwu greeted her warmly as well. The woman was none other than Jiang Yufei, the major shareholder behind Min Kang Hospital. She held the title of Director at the hospital, and whenever things weren’t too busy at the Jiang Corporation headquarters, she’d come to the hospital to get her fix of saving lives. She hadn’t expected to stumble upon a crowd gathered here while she was just strolling around. “President Dong, what’s going on?” Jiang Yufei walked in and saw Qiao Yu; her beautiful brows immediately furrowed. “Feifei, you’re just in time!” Qiao Yu said with a grin. “I’m about to perform a surgery, and I happen to need a meticulous young lady to assist me. Why don’t you come with me?” As he spoke, Qiao Yu took in Jiang Yufei in her white coat and couldn’t help but nod in silent admiration. Her long, jet-black hair was neatly tied up on top of her head, and a blue mask covered her face below her chin. Her delicate features were completely makeup-free, yet she was strikingly beautiful. Above her sky-blue jeans was a pristine white lab coat. Even the loose-fitting coat couldn’t hide her curvaceous figure, and the more Qiao Yu looked at her, the more he liked her. “Director Jiang is assisting you? You must have made a mistake!” Hearing that Qiao Yu had actually asked Jiang Yufei to assist him, all the doctors frowned. Jiang Yufei looked around at the group and asked, “What’s going on?” “Little Li, you tell him.” “It’s like this…” A doctor hurriedly explained the whole story in detail. After hearing the account, Jiang Yufei became even more convinced of Qiao Yu’s extraordinary medical skills. She said calmly, “You just said you needed a meticulous beauty to assist you, right? I’ll do it—but if you can’t cure the patient, get out of here!” “No problem at all.” Qiao Yu smiled broadly, waved his hand, and walked into the sterilization room. Moments later, everything was ready. Under the expectant gazes of the crowd, Qiao Yu and Jiang Yufei, both wearing masks, entered the operating room. “What do you need me to do?” As soon as they entered, Qiao Yu began sterilizing the silver needles on his own, pressing various parts of the patient’s body nonstop. It seemed casual, but Jiang Yufei quickly noticed something was off. Every spot he pressed seemed to be an acupoint, and as he massaged, the patient’s vital signs actually began to improve noticeably! After pressing several points in succession, Qiao Yu finally turned around and said with a smile, “Take off your mask first.” Although puzzled, Jiang Yufei took off her mask. “Breathing poses virtually no risk of infection to the patient, so there’s no need to wear it,” Qiao Yu said with a smile, his eyes fixed on her charming face. “Come, sterilize the silver needles.” “You know the consequences if you can’t save the patient!” Jiang Yufei glared at him, then walked over and deftly disinfected the needles with alcohol. Although she didn’t often perform these professional procedures, she frequently reviewed them in her mind, so she was quite familiar with the process. “Give me the three-inch needles…” Qiao Yu took the silver needles she handed him and inserted them into a specific acupoint on the patient. He observed the patient’s reaction, checked the ECG readings, and finally fixed his gaze on Jiang Yufei’s expression. His hand had never left the needles; instead, it began to rotate them ever so slightly. Jiang Yufei made a strange discovery: Qiao Yu was holding the needle by its middle, yet the tip was actually trembling slightly—and even emitting a faint, phoenix-like chirp! “What kind of acupuncture technique is this?!” Jiang Yufei felt as though she had discovered a new world, utterly fascinated. “Top secret.” Qiao Yu had no intention of revealing the secrets of this divine Chinese medical technique he’d taught himself from a thousand-year-old ancient text. Instead, he asked, “Feifei, have you ever had a boyfriend?” “We’re at work right now—saving lives!” Jiang Yufei glared at him fiercely and snapped, “The needles are sterilized. What do we do now?” “Massage.” Qiao Yu’s expression shifted slightly, and he spoke in a voice that sounded surprisingly weak.
