The Life of a Necromancer as a Swashbuckler

Chapter 30: The Nine Heavens Mystic Separation Technique

Seeing that Yechacha intended to explain only after they’d descended the mountain, Nameless didn’t press the matter. His immediate priority was to get down from Mogan Peak. Now that he possessed inner energy, Nameless couldn’t help but want to test it out. He casually struck out with a palm toward the air. What tremendous force! The palm strike, accompanied by a gust of wind, swept toward him with such power that it seemed capable of shattering even a rock. “This is the power of martial arts,” Nameless marveled to himself. “It’s truly wonderful to have mastered them.” “Kid, are you done testing it out yet? If so, lead us down the mountain.” Yechacha sat to one side, watching Nameless’s excited expression, and felt a bit conflicted inside. Hearing Yechacha’s words, Nameless finally gathered his focus and began searching for a path down the mountain. Now, the cliff no longer seemed as steep as it had moments ago; the footholds he’d previously deemed too small now appeared much larger. After searching for quite a while, he finally found a path leading down the mountain. He returned to Yechacha and said, “Miss Ji, I’ve found the way. Let’s head down.” Yechacha shot Nameless a sidelong glance. “Are you sure you can lead me down safely?” Nameless froze, not understanding Yechacha’s question. “What do you mean, Miss?” “You’ve only infused me with your inner energy, but you still haven’t mastered lightness skills. If we rush down like this, do you want us both to fall to our deaths?” Yechacha said impatiently. Ah, so that’s it, Nameless realized instantly. Relying solely on inner energy wouldn’t be enough to lead someone down these sheer cliffs—but how could he possibly learn lightness skills? Yechacha knew Nameless had no other choice. “Since you have my inner energy, I’ll teach you a lightness technique as well. It complements the Ice-Fire Mystic Female Art—it’s called the Nine Heavens Mystic Separation Technique. It’s considered one of the top lightness techniques in the world, so you’d better study it carefully.” Yechacha was truly holding nothing back with Nameless. Nameless was, of course, delighted. The Nine Heavens Mystic Separation Technique is an agility art designed to complement the Ice-Fire Mystic Maiden Art; it is one of the strongest agility arts in the world. It was precisely through this technique that Yechacha had become the top practitioner of agility arts in the Tianlong Sect. In fact, this technique is very easy to learn, but it must be practiced in conjunction with the Ice-Fire Mystic Maiden Art; without a foundation in the Mystic Maiden Art, the Nine Heavens Mystic Separation Technique cannot be fully utilized. With Yechacha’s full inner energy and having reached the seventh level of the Mystic Maiden Art, Nameless picked up the Nine Heavens Mystic Detachment Technique very quickly. Before long, he had already mastered it. “All right, that should be about it. Let’s go.” After Nameless had practiced it a few times, Yechacha and he prepared to head down the mountain. How should he carry Yechacha down the mountain? Nameless began to ponder. “What are you thinking about? Come here and hold onto me,” Yechacha said cheerfully. Hearing this, Nameless hesitated no longer and immediately picked Yechacha up in a princess carry. She was so light—Yechacha was truly as supple as a willow, feeling weightless against him. Her soft skin and the faint, alluring scent of a young woman caused Nameless’s mind to wander once again. “Had enough fun? Let’s go!” Yechacha knew exactly what Nameless was thinking and reminded him impatiently. Only then did Nameless snap out of it. “Miss Ji, you can wrap your arms around my neck—hold on tight. Be careful on the way down,” he advised kindly. “Hmph,” Yechacha snorted coldly, but she obediently wrapped her arms around Nameless’s neck and pressed herself tightly against his chest. Then the two began their descent. Having just mastered the Nine Heavens Mystic Separation Technique and with a beauty in his arms, Nameless couldn’t help but be extra cautious as he weaved his way down Mogan Peak. By the time they reached the foot of Mogan Peak, it was already late in the day. Nameless finally let out a long sigh of relief—they were safe at last. Yechacha jumped down from Nameless’s arms and stood beside him, radiating charm and allure. Suddenly, she said softly to Nameless, “Master Nameless, what shall we do next?” Nameless was startled. How had that fierce Yechacha transformed so completely? He stood there dumbfounded for half a moment before replying, “Now that we’ve both made it down safely, I should return to Xiaoyao Valley. What about you, Miss Ji?” Upon hearing this, Yechacha continued to smile with all her charm, “Don’t be in such a hurry to leave. Before you go, shouldn’t we share a little something?” As she spoke, she struck another incredibly alluring pose—one that would make any ordinary man lose control. Having already seen the Yechacha naked, Nameless had developed a much higher tolerance for her charms, so he still didn’t catch on. Confused, he asked, “Do what?” Seeing Nameless’s bewildered and clueless expression, Yechacha couldn’t help but get a little angry. Her tone turned sharp as she demanded, “Give me back my inner energy!” Only then did Nameless realize what was happening. The sensation of having inner energy was so wonderful that he’d completely forgotten he was supposed to return it. Seeing the look of sudden realization on Nameless’s face—and a hint of hesitation—Yechacha grew even more displeased. “What’s the matter? Is the ‘Great Hero’ of Xiaoyao Valley unwilling to return my inner energy?” “Of course not. It belongs to Miss Ji anyway. Thank you so much for saving my life, Miss Ji. How can I repay you?” Nameless deeply felt how much he owed Yechacha and didn’t hesitate for a moment. “It’s enough that you want to return it. As for how, you’ll find out tonight,” Yechacha said, blushing slightly again as she returned the inner energy. “It’s getting late; let’s find a place to stay for the night.” Yechacha had already made plans for the next step. So the two found an inn at the foot of Mogan Peak and settled in. To Nameless’s surprise, Yechacha didn’t insist on staying separately like Shi Jingyu had; instead, she took the initiative to book a room and insisted on staying with Nameless. Nameless had intended to object, but Yechacha silenced him with a stern glance. Leaning against each other in front of the innkeeper, they looked just like a couple, so the innkeeper didn’t suspect a thing. After dinner, once they were inside the room, Yechacha once again became alluring and coy. She wriggled her body and leaned close to Nameless’s ear, whispering softly, “Young Hero, may this servant help you undress for bed?” Her tone was intimate, inviting all sorts of fantasies. Nameless’s resistance to Yechacha’s seduction had now reached its peak. Seeing her start this again, he couldn’t help but feel a jolt of alarm—he had no idea what she was planning next. Seeing that Nameless was virtually unaffected by her seduction, Yechacha’s expression immediately hardened. She snapped at him, “Undress! It’s time to begin repaying your debt!”
